Terms of Service

Last updated 14 October 2026

The short version

  • The bots are free, run by one person as a hobby, and come with no guarantees.
  • Follow Discord's rules (and Twitch's and Steam's where they come in) when you use them.
  • Server admins are responsible for what they make the bot post and which roles it hands out.
  • We can change or stop the bots, or block anyone who misuses them.

1. Who we are and what this covers

These terms are an agreement between you and Resorted ("we", "us"), the developer who runs the following Discord bots and their websites (together, "the Services"):

  • RizzyBot - a general-purpose bot that any server can add, with a dashboard at bot.resorted.dev.
  • PropellBot - the bot for the Første Gir Discord server, with Twitch VIP roles, at bot.propelldir.no.
  • The ChædderHeim Valheim bot - the bot for the ChædderHeim Valheim server, with a whitelist request page, a moderator page and a dashboard at heim.propelldir.no.
  • Twitch Watcher - announces new global Twitch badges and emotes in Discord channels (as a bot or through webhooks) or by direct message, set up at app.resorted.dev/twitch-watcher.
  • SRT Relay - passes streamers' camera feeds (SRT or RTMP) on to OBS, set up at app.resorted.dev/srt. Access is given by its owner and can be taken away at any time.

By adding a bot to a server, signing in to one of the dashboards or pages, or interacting with a bot (for example, clicking its buttons or reacting to its role panels), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.

2. Other platforms' terms

The bots run on Discord, so you must also follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, including Discord's minimum age. Where a feature connects to Twitch or Steam, their terms apply too (Twitch, Steam). We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by Discord, Twitch, Valve or Iron Gate.

3. What the bots do

Depending on the bot, the Services let people with the right permissions in a Discord server:

  • see server information, roles, channels and the member list on a web dashboard;
  • change the bot's nickname, picture, banner and bio in that server;
  • send, edit and delete messages and embeds as the bot;
  • set up role panels (buttons or reactions) that give and take roles;
  • decide which roles or people can use each part of the dashboard;
  • (PropellBot) give a Discord role to the Twitch channel's VIPs, after people match each VIP to a Discord member;
  • (Valheim bot) take whitelist requests, approve or deny them, manage the Valheim server's whitelist, restart the server and post server events to Discord.
  • (Twitch Watcher) post announcements about Twitch's global badges and emotes where you set it up. Unlock dates, requirements and eligible channels come from Twitch and are shown as they are, without any guarantee that they're complete or correct.
  • (SRT Relay) send your camera streams to our server and read them back in OBS. You are responsible for what you stream through it, and for keeping your addresses and keys to yourself. It's a free service run on a best-effort basis: streams can drop, and there's no guarantee it will be available or fast enough for any particular stream.

4. If you manage a server that uses a bot

If you add a bot to a server, or have access to its dashboard, you are responsible for how it's used there. In particular you agree:

  • that you have the right to add the bot to that server and to give it the permissions it asks for;
  • that anything you make the bot post, and any roles you set it to give or take, are your responsibility and must follow Discord's rules;
  • to give dashboard access only to people you trust with it;
  • to let your members know, where needed, that the bot is in use (our Privacy Policy explains what it handles).

PropellBot and the Valheim bot are made for one specific Discord server each and leave any other server they're added to.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to:

  • break any law, or Discord's, Twitch's or Steam's rules;
  • harass, threaten, spam or impersonate anyone;
  • post illegal, hateful or sexually explicit content involving minors, or content you don't have the rights to;
  • try to get access to servers, dashboards or data you aren't allowed to see, or to get around access settings;
  • attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the bots or websites, or interfere with how they run;
  • submit false information in whitelist requests or VIP matches.

6. Signing in

The dashboards and pages use "Sign in with Discord" (and, for some features, Twitch or Steam). You are responsible for what happens under your account. We never see your passwords. You can sign out at any time, and you can remove a bot's access to your Discord account under User Settings → Authorized Apps in Discord.

7. Availability and changes

The Services are free and run as a hobby project on our own server. They may be slow, go offline, lose data, or change without notice. We can add or remove features, change these terms, or stop running a bot at any time. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page; continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the new terms.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using a bot at any time: server admins can kick it, and members can sign out and stop interacting with it. We may block a user or server from the Services, or remove a bot from a server, if we think these terms are being broken or the Services are being misused.

9. Content and ownership

You keep whatever rights you have in the content you give the bots (messages, embeds, images, notes). You give us permission to store and process that content only as needed to run the Services - for example, to post a message you wrote or show it on the dashboard. The bots' code, design and the Resorted name and logo belong to us.

10. No warranty

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We don't promise that they will be error-free, secure or always available, or that roles, whitelists or messages will always be handled correctly.

11. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, roles, messages, server access or game progress, that comes from using or not being able to use the Services. Since the Services are free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero, except where the law doesn't allow this. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute will be handled by the Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms? Ask a moderator in the Discord server where you use the bot to pass it on to Resorted, who runs the bots.
